Lesson 12

I am upset because I see a meaningless world. ~ Lesson 12, ACIM

Insert any number of other feelings and / or adjectives here and the results would be the same.

What we are reacting to is simply our own distortion out-pictured.

There’s also the collective distortion impacting vision.

Either way, what we judge the world, ourselves, each other against is illusion based on the degree of distortion.

The more neutral and present, the clearer the vision, the less judgmental we become.

Because when we see clearly, experiences are simply what we witness.

There’s less charge, therefore less story, and that level of detachment doesn’t require anything else.

Reactivity leads to reactivity.

Neutrality leads to neutrality.

When we make no distinction between the positive and negative thoughts swirling in us, we begin to see clearly.
